Amid ruffles, sequins, and billowy sleeves, the comfort and simplicity of the white tank make it stand out. This also makes the white tank the perfect foil for other items in fashion this year. Perhaps it’s a nod to the 1990s and early 2000s when simple white tanks were everywhere.
As the fashion for fall 2022 was revealed to the world, the white tank took center stage on the runways of Chloé, Bottega Veneta, and Prada. But, unlike the pricetags that such designer brands suggest, your tank top does not need to be an expensive investment. It is, after all, a white tank — not a silk blouse.
