A centerpiece of Downtown’s Main Street Mall and Cooper Young’s gateway, Aldo’s Pizza Pies delivers big pizzas with immense flavor. The two locations take their pies, patios, and Instagram seriously. The Correale family has been whipping up Italian food since 1985, and they’re still going strong! Located in East Memphis off Kirby Parkway, Brooklyn Bridge has pasta and, of course, pizzas! Coletta’s is one of “Memphis’ Oldest Restaurants Since 1923” and is known for their famous BBQ pizza. Pair your pie with a side of meatballs or Italian spinach, or if you feel like loading up on the carbs, start with the toasted ravioli. Elwood’s Shack

Garibaldi’s Pizza was started near Walker Avenue by the University of Memphis in 1975 and has since expanded to Germantown at the Market Square Business Center and Mt. Moriah Road in east Memphis. They offer six specialty pizzas, three hand-tossed pizzas, and four types of Neapolitan, so your taste buds are in for a treat. I you want to mix it up and get a hot sub for lunch, we suggest starting with the delicious pizza bread. It’s the best of both worlds!

Alternatively, order a few to kick off a family-style meal of shared plates. Order the crab claws and save your butter for dipping pizza crusts! The creativity behind H&H’s pizza combinations might be uncharted territory, but they’re intended to take your dining experience to a new level. And, oh, they do! Every single time. Stop in for a $10 pizza during happy hours Tuesday through Friday from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m. and Saturday and Sunday from 3 p.m. to 5 p.m.

Oversized and satisfying, Little Italy specializes in a pie reminiscent of the restaurant’s namesake. Located in the Medical District of Midtown Memphis, New York would kill for this Memphis pizzeria’s take on a thin, extra-large pie layered with just the proper cheese-to-sauce ratio. Our favorite classic flavor is dotted meticulously with pepperoni. Even better? They’ll deliver it to your door with a $15 minimum order!

Little Bettie Pizza & Snacks is the hidden gem inside Wiseacre Brewing Company. They’ve got pretzel nugs and loaded tater sticks, but what stands out the most? Their pizza, of course. They have unique flavors like pimento cheese, pistachio, and black pepper honey. While you’re there, grab a cold brew on draft. You’ll thank us later.

Memphis Pizza Cafe

Four Memphis locations; hours vary

Memphis Pizza Cafe has four locations: Overton Square, Germantown, Collierville, and East Memphis, so there has to be one near you! Pair your pie with a tasty calzone or finish your meal with their dessert pizza, apple streusel, or s’mores. If you want to grab a slice after work, they offer a happy hour Monday through Friday, from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m., with $2 domestic beers, $1 off glasses of wine, $0.50 off small pizzas, $1 off medium pizzas, and $1.50 off large pizzas.

Slice of Soul Pizza Lounge

Slice of Soul Pizza Lounge opened in 2017 with one goal — good food and great music. They’ve accomplished that and so much more! Wednesdays kick off at 7 p.m. with “Slice of Karaoke Night,”  Thursday is a night filled with comedy (with a $5 cover charge), on Fridays, enjoy happy hour with $5 seven-inch pizzas and drink specials and experience live entertainment and DJs on Saturdays. Can’t make it for dinner? Grab a $10 lunch with your choice of cheese, potato, loaded fries, or a slice of pizza.

Tamboli’s Pizza & Pasta

Located in Midtown, Tamboli’s is a quaint little spot for all things pizza and pasta … and might we say, it’s delicious! They have nine specialty pizzas and weekly specials. Plus, you can make your own pie or order it vegan or dairy-free. All of the pizzas are made with locally sourced, house-made, or house-grown ingredients with homemade sauces. Oh, and start with the garlic bread and meatballs. Delicious!
