The Pink Palace Family of Museums brings exploration, discovery and amazement to people of all ages. The mid-south’s science and history destination, Pink Palace Family of Museums provides family-friendly entertainment where the whole clan can marvel at ancient history, gaze at the stars and take a walk on the wild side. With each different location comes a new experience. At the Pink Palace Museum guests will explore cultural and natural history, learn about the development of Memphis, view an award-winning medical exhibit and so much more! Visit the CTI 3D Giant Theatre at Pink Palace Museum for movies with an unparalleled viewer experience. The AutoZone Dome at the Sharpe Planetarium allows for exploration of our universe. Here you’ll catch seasonal stargazing shows, laser shows (some of which may feature your favorite music!), and more. The Pink Palace Family of Museums also operates two historic homes in Memphis. Each home is from the 19th century and provides a glimpse into the Victorian era.

Just down the street from the Pink Palace is Lichterman Nature Center where visitors are welcomed by over 65 acres of beautiful scenery and where environmental education is vast. Here you’ll experience both indoor and outdoor activities, hands-on exhibits and everything nature has to offer! And just a two hour drive from Memphis, the Coon Creek Science Center hosts organized groups and is home to one of the most important fossil sites in North America. Here, visitors will get a look into life 70 million years ago.
