Watkins Young Artist Programs help kids and teens develop creatively as they cultivate artistic skills. Their programs are best known for an incredible teaching staff of artists, designers, and educators. Parents regularly comment on the quality of instruction, noting that they appreciate their dedication to hiring real art teachers who focus on allowing students to explore the creative process. Overall, they place a strong emphasis on problem-solving, designing, communicating, and creating. Classes are small (12 students) to provide individual attention.

Camps for younger artists are based on a weekly theme to provide a cohesive art show at the conclusion of camp. Last summer, the camps included a glow-in-the-dark gallery as part of their end-of-camp art shows, and Watkins is excited to expand this unique aspect of their program. (Campers also work on a giant, themed coloring book mural during pick-up time at the end of each day!)
