Whether your goal is to heal old trauma, combat burnout, or reset and reconnect with your most authentic self — everyone’s journey to achieving mental wellness looks different. No matter what emotional health looks like to you, Onsite is a brand that offers experiences and in-person programs to explore complex feelings and help you optimize your life. Its flagship experience, the Living Centered Program, is a great way to take a step back and find genuine connections in all aspects of your life.

A six-day experience, the Living Centered Program appeals to people from a variety of circumstances. Whether you feel stuck in your therapy journey, are at a crossroads in life, or feel disconnected from those around you, the Living Centered Program can help. “The program is a chance for people to pause everyday life, remove themselves from distractions, and then do a deep dive into their story,” says Onsite’s Creative Marketing Director Hannah Warren. “It helps make sense of how the past is impacting your present, and from there, figuring out how you want to move forward with your future.”

A primary element that makes this program stand out is its focus on providing a group experience. When Onsite hosts one of its Living Centered Programs, there can be anywhere from 40 to 60 people going through the program with you. While some activities are done in a large group, others are done in small groups assigned to you at the beginning of your journey.

“Often, we hear from people that the group piece is the most impactful part of the program because, for the first time, it allows people to really be seen and cared for by others,” says Hannah. “At Onsite, we often say, ‘We’re wounded in community’ … because we’re wounded in community, we also need to heal in community.”

Every morning, the Living Centered Program begins with a meditation and lecture from one of Onsite’s clinical staff members. From there, people typically break up into small groups and spend a couple of hours together before taking a break and reconvening later in the afternoon.

In addition to programming and therapy, the set-up of Onsite’s campus also plays a significant role in the healing journey. Located about an hour outside of Nashville in Cumberland Furnace, the campus sits on roughly 250 acres of land and was designed around the idea of Healing Hospitality. This means that in addition to the clinical component of the process, Onsite integrates healing into all that it does — everything from the bed that you sleep in to the food that you eat is a part of healing you from the inside out.

It’s important to note that once a participant leaves the Living Centered Program, their journey in healing is far from over. In fact, in studies done by Onsite, results have shown that the program provides long-term changes in people’s lives.

In one study, Onsite checked in with alumni of the Living Centered Program three and six months after their experience. At both check-ins, they saw decreased anxiety, depression, and shame, as well as increased self-compassion, connectedness, and relationship quality.

“We’ve heard time and time again that people get as much healing (or more) out of the six days they spend at Onsite as they would in over a year’s worth of weekly therapy sessions,” adds Hannah.

Onsite’s Cumberland Furnace campus is strategically set up to be a part of your healing process — offering serene hiking trails, a labyrinth, and more.

While six days away from work or family may feel impossible, the life change you can experience during those six days is one of the greatest investments you will ever make in yourself.

Grammy Award-winning singer-songwriter Nicole Galyon says, “I’ve told people there’s my life before Onsite, and there’s my life after Onsite. I love both of those versions of myself; I just love the one after a little bit more. I feel like I have so much more empathy for everyone else, and it’s probably because I learned to give myself empathy … I couldn’t have gotten there had Living Centered not gotten me back in touch with my own story and who I am.”

In addition to helping yourself, Onsite’s Living Centered Program can also help strengthen your relationships with others. Living Centered alumni Sam and Chrissy went through the program separately, agreeing that it improved their marriage. “I remember driving up to the airport and seeing Chrissy on the curb … and it was like falling in love with her all over again,” recalls Sam. “She was gorgeous on our wedding day, but I can honestly say that seeing her come home from Onsite was almost more powerful. It was like a new adventure I was going to start … That has affected me in the best way possible.”

The Onsite campus also houses animals like horses, goats, llamas, and more. “Sometimes animals are a part of the healing process,” says Hannah. “They have a lot to teach us, so animals are a really big, central part of our campus.” Image: Emily Magers Photography

If you’re interested in participating in the Living Centered Program, the best first step is to call Onsite’s admissions team at 1 (800) 341-7432 or fill out this form on their website. From there, someone from Onsite will contact you, determine if the Living Centered Program is the right fit, and guide you through the entire process. Generally speaking, almost everyone can benefit from the program as long as they’re willing to do the work.

For Living Centered Program alum Edgar, he emphasizes the importance of being willing to explore yourself and taking full advantage of the program: “I would tell someone interested in going to a Living Centered Program that if you are really ready to explore the depths of your own identity and live according to that — your own pure and true self — if you’re ready to hear your voice as being the preeminent voice in your own life, and you’re ready for the dynamic life that you’ve always wanted to live, then I can’t think of a better option than the Living Centered Program.”

The Living Centered Program is open to anyone and everyone ready to make a change in their life. Hannah says she has seen people as young as 18 and as old as 75 go through the program.

While seeking help or regaining control over your life may feel overwhelming, the Living Centered Program is a life-changing experience that allows you to rewrite your narratives and help you in areas of your life where you might feel stuck. “This is the best investment you can make in your life. You’ll experience the ripple effects tenfold,” says Hannah. “If you want to be a better partner, parent, co-worker, boss, friend — it starts with becoming a better human.”
