Today, we’ve compiled our big (BIG!) list of some of Birmingham’s best patios. Satellite

Ashley Mac’s

FoodBar

Crestwood Tavern

Paramount

Red Cat Coffee House

Wine Loft

Yo’ Mama’s

The Essential

Whether you’re looking for a tasty brunch or a cozy dinner, The Essential on Morris Avenue should be your go-to spot. With a covered patio and plenty of outdoor seating, this restaurant is a treat for locals and tourists alike.

Cayo Coco 

This Cuban-inspired rum bar will whisk you away into a new culture with their gorgeous decor and delicious food. Make plans to dine on their patio surrounded by palm trees, vibrant colors, and great company.

ENGLISH VILLAGE

Tucked in a cozy corner of picturesque English Village, Chez Lulu’s atmosphere and cuisine will make you feel like you’re sitting on the streets of Paris!

Continental Bakery

Spend some time under the red and gold awnings at English Village’s Continental Bakery. These scratch-made artisan breads and pastries make the carbs well worth it. Feel free to bring your pooch along, too, as the outside area is dog-friendly.

Vino | Gallery 1930

Overlook Cahaba Road on the patio of this classy cocktail and oyster bar. After perusing the gallery next door, relax with a great drink at this new social hangout in English Village.

Bobby Carl’s Table

This small but might patio in English Village is sure to be a hit this summer. New to the area, Bobby Carl’s table boasts fresh food and drinks that will definitely make this patio a must-visit spot for locals and tourists.

5 Point Public House Oyster Bar

Al’s Deli & Grill

Be sure to check out Al’s Deli & Grill in the heart of historic Five Points South, where American and Mediterranean finger-lickin’ late-night eats are their specialty. They serve up this goodness all day and all night in a down-to-earth diner with outdoor seating.

Black Market Bar & Grill

Grab a seat with a view of the famous Five Points Fountain on Black Market’s patio. Enjoy their brunch, fabulous cocktails and inventive bar food, such as the Greek Egg Rolls (which we highly recommend)!

Bottega

Consistently named one of the best places to eat in Birmingham, this Five Points restaurant offers both a sophisticated dining room and a more casual café. The outdoor seating area is coupled with award-winning cuisine, great service, an extensive wine list and refreshing cocktails to keep you soaking up the Birmingham sun as long as you can stand it.

Chez Fonfon

Known for their French cuisine, but don’t be surprised by Chez Fonfon’s amazingly delicious burgers and fries. And don’t miss the chance to play a game of boule on the back patio, which is reminiscent of a village scene in Provence.

Galley and Garden

Located in the historic Merritt House, this upscale venue is known for some of the city’s best fine dining. The upstairs patio is a great place for a night filled with great food and drinks off Highland Avenue.

Marty’s PM

This late-night joint, open from 8 p.m. to 5 a.m., naturally attracts the service industry crowd. When the Magic City’s restaurant managers, bartenders and waiters hang up their aprons and close down their eateries, they head to this beloved watering hole, where the to-die-for corned beef Reuben with hand-trimmed, house-cured beef brisket and their patty melt have both garnered local accolades. Mellow Mushroom

For some good ol’ pizza and a funky, mind-blowing atmosphere, check out Mellow Mushroom.

O’Henry’s Coffee

Visiting O’Henry’s Coffees is always a great idea. With their freshly baked pastries, dependable WiFi and perfectly brewed coffee, this locale, adjacent to Rojo on Highland Avenue, will help make any day better.

Unplugged

This new 90s-inspired bar that sits directly behind McFly’s Bird Shoppe boasts a fun and beautiful patio space that’s hidden from the street. Grab your friends and get ready for a night full of childhood nostalgia and great drinks!

The Garage Cafe

Chuy’s

North Italia
